  A solid average. Typical bar food of mediocre quality. Pizza is just ok. Drinks are ok. I guess we keep coming back because the wait staff is always friendly and they are always accommodating if we ask them to change a TV to a particular football game. Its not crazy loud like BWW.

  I usually love coming here, food was always great. Pizza is my favorite. I took my nieces out to lunch, March 4 for their birthdays and we had the worst meal I've ever had at a restaurant. Whoever was at the grill had no business cooking. My daughters and I had grilled chicken on our salad and one had it on her sandwich. What little chicken and cheese we got on our salad was so overcooked it was dry and crunchy and I couldn't eat it. Even my niece who ordered a burger had an overcooked burnt burger. When I asked the waitress about who was cooking on the grill because all our food was overcooked and NOT good she didn't know and would check. She then came back about 10 minutes later and said the manager offered to give us 25% off our bill, by then we were frustrated and done. The Manager never came to talk to us to see if we wanted something else or to see what we were served and how it was cooked. We all didn't finish our meal and left hungry. And the 25% off was only 25% two salads..so we got a whopping $4.98 off the meal. I am so mad I don't know if I will come back to the OP in Ames, and I definitely won't be coming back at lunch time on a weekend. And I use to come here a lot and will be telling all my friends about the way they treat their customers.

  Nice selection of food and it's all good quality. Great chili, salads, burgers and pizza. Hefty portions and you shouldn't walk away hungry!

  Very slow service. Had the lasagna and it was all pasta and mushrooms. Others in pay had the chicken fingers. The lasagna scores one star. The chicken fingers fared better, 3 stars/5.
